Simulation: Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network Caring for the Critically Ill Patient

The Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network will host a Caring for the Critically Ill Patient simulation Aug. 20 at the Munson Medical Center, Traverse City. The simulation is free of charge and will allow hands-on experience and practice.
Subject matter experts Pat Posa, RN, BSN, MSA, quality excellence leader, St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, and Bruno DiGiovine, MD, MPH, medical director of medical specialties, IHA, will provide training and education to hospital members in areas of interdisciplinary rounds, the A-F bundle (including pain, mobility, agitation, delirium & SAT/SBT) and ventilator-associated events. Simulations are available in the morning  (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon (1 to 5 p.m.)
