The Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network will host a Caring for the Critically Ill Patient simulation June 12 at the Central Michigan University Clinical Simulation Center, Saginaw. The simuation is free of charge and will allow hands-on experiencSe and practice.
Subject matter experts Pat Posa, RN, BSN, MSA, quality excellence leader, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor, and Bruno DiGiovinne, MD, MPH will provide training and education to hospital members in areas of interdisciplinary rounds, the A-F bundle (including pain, mobility, agitation, delirium & SAT/SBT) and ventilator-associated events.
Simulations are available in the morning (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon (1 to 5 p.m.). Registration is available via the MHA Portal. Members with questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center.
