The Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network will host a Caring for the Critically Ill Patient simulation April 17 at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. The simuation is free of charge and will allow hands-on experience and practice.
Subject matter experts Pat Posa, RN, BSN, MSA, quality excellence leader, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor, and Bruno DiGiovinne, MD, MPH will provide training and education to hospital members in areas of interdisciplinary rounds, the A-F bundle (including pain, mobility, agitation, delirium & SAT/SBT) and ventilator-associated events.
Simulations are available in the morning (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon (1 to 5 p.m.). Registration is available via the MHA Portal. Members with questions may contact the MHA Keystone Center.
