MHA Cybersecurity Member Forum

Nationally recognized healthcare cybersecurity expert John Riggi will be the featured speaker at the MHA Cybersecurity Member Forum from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 14 at Davenport University, Lettinga Campus, Grand Rapids.
Riggi, senior advisor for cybersecurity and risk, American Hospital Association, will focus on three key topic areas:
- Current cyber threats facing hospitals and health systems.
- Review of major cyber incidents experienced by the FBI and healthcare leaders.
- Description of threat actors, their motivations and the techniques they use to penetrate hospital networks to steal valuable data or insert ransomware.
This event is designed for cybersecurity and IT professionals, chief executive, finance and information officers, and compliance officers. There is no registration fee for this event, however, members must register via the MHA Member Portal.
MHA Associate Member/Nonmember Forum

Associate members and partner organizations are important to the MHA and Michigan hospitals and health systems. The MHA is inviting you to an interactive membership forum where you will have the opportunity to discuss how the association can better meet your needs. The forum will review the MHA’s membership benefits, involvement in MHA committees, councils and task forces, and activities and events for the next several months. An update on the latest MHA Keystone Center clinical and data initiatives will also be provided.
