NOTE: The 2017 Healthcare Advocacy Day, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 3 in Lansing, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be contacted in the coming weeks. For more information about the cancellation, contact Stacy Dowdy at the MHA.

Healthcare Advocacy Day has allowed participants to learn how the healthcare community can work together to achieve public policy outcomes that positively impact hospitals, providers and patients. Taking an immediate step to positively influence healthcare, attendees met with state legislators and their staffs to discuss the state budget and legislative priorities of Michigan hospitals. Information about opportunities to learn about advocacy in 2018 will be available next year.

Interested individuals can still help advocate on behalf of Michigan hospitals and patients at MiCareMatters.org.
