Coalition Protecting Auto No-fault Files FOIA Lawsuit to Access Data
Last week, the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking data from the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association. Transparency is being sought to provide lawmakers and the public with the necessary information to learn whether drastic changes to the state's auto no-fault insurance system are needed, as proposed in House Bill 4936 and Senate Bill 649 in the fall.
