The MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) Safe Table, focused on rural health, will be held Nov. 28 at the Inn at Bay Harbor, Bay Harbor, MI.
The purpose of the safe table is to investigate and discuss current struggles in the rural health environment as well as engage with peers to gain knowledge and benefit from resources that can make care safer, specifically in healthcare organizations operating in the rural setting.
Safe tables are unique in that they offer a legally protected environment for discussion around sensitive topics. There will be ample opportunity to discuss prevailing barriers and strategies to implementing recommended practices.
The safe table is an interactive session, so attendees are encouraged to come equipped with stories and information to share with the group.
All MHA Keystone Center PSO hospitals are encouraged to send staff, including but not limited to relevant frontline care providers, risk managers, directors of patient safety, directors of risk management and executive leadership.
Registration will open in the fall.
Questions about the event may be directed to Adam Novak at the MHA Keystone Center.
